EURO-FBP Training school in Riga
The 2018 EURO-FBP TS (Faculty of Biology, University of Latvia,17-20 Sept) is now over. According to feedback from the 20 attending trainees and 5 trainers the event was a great success. We would like to thank those that contributed to making the TS happen! Due to the high number of applicants that did not get a place in last years TS we decided to organize a similar event again. Thus, this training school was also aimed at teaching optimization and troubleshooting of methods used to extract, amplify, and sequence nucleic acids from contaminated matrices and isolated foodborne parasites. Local organizer: Gunita Deksne Trainers: Karin Troell, Marco Lalle, Kristin Elwin and Gereon Schares. |
